Build arrived but looks messy :/

So, the coolermaster TD500 does fit a 280 radiator in the roof, so it has to be the clearance on the RGB RAM that stops it going there?
Even if fitted to the front because it doesnt fit, it appears the radiator is upside down from your photos.
Cable/wire routing could of been better as well,. and tied down neater... i'm guessing inexperienced builder, or a rushed job...

I rang tech support and showed them pictures. The guy said that radiator thingy couldn’t really of been placed anywhere else as the wasn’t enough room at the top of the case and it should work fine where it is.
As for messy cables, he said similar in that there wasn’t really anywhere else to place them.

Clearer? Pictures. I don’t know why they keep uploading sideways 🤦🏼‍♀️

The raditor needs turning upside down then, cable job isnt that bad... just not very neatly done.
The room at top of case has to be down to the RAM selection I think, the case itself fits it.
RGB is bigger, so likely th radiator and fans end up touching it or overlapping so cant fit it there.

Let us know how you get on with the Intel M.2, theyre generally avoided over issues with lifespan.

As you can see here (this picture comes from Cooler Master website), they still put up a top radiator with RGB RAM...

I don’t want to break anything. There’s a reason I didn’t build it myself lol. Should I just leave it???? Will it run ok as is? Or is this gona cause a serious issue? Cable management is just cosmetic. I can cope with it just about. But what about this radiator cooler business?

I would take teh radiator, turn it the otherway around so the hoses go to the bottom, and then raise it so its covering the top two, not bottom two fans....the PSU shoud is blocking most of the bottom fan where it is.

I -think- you might even be able to take the two ML fans off it and wire them in seperately and position then in the roof, and link the two top case fans into the cooler so they act as the fans for the radiator? But thats me just experiementing in my head.

You know, I'd still take the radiator off and try to mount it on top. I'm pretty sure it'll fit fine

It all depends on the RAM... they arent all the same size.
Its worth checking as the radiator and fans for it would be better in the roof... but from that picture alone I can tell its not Corsair RGB RAM in there.

@Muffinz - I am a little disappointed at your build on the inside I must say. It does look like things could have/should have been done a little differently. Aside from the cooler other cabling really should have been neater than it is.

None of that will take away from the performance of your machine which I think will work great for you. But I do think @ubuysa is correct that your first port of call would be to contact PCS and ask them about it - with your photos for reference too.....

Here it is as well with Corsair RAM:

I still can't really see why the rad can't be higher? What's blocking it from being further up? It won't go all the way up obviously with the front panel I/O cables but still...

If it could go higher, then it could also be rotated the other way around surely....

Ok I literally have no idea what anyone is saying. I have no idea where to even begin moving stuff. Can I pay someone to come round and do
It for me 😂

LOL Thats then a different cooler with fans.... it's pointless posting pics with different components...
Only way to see would be to try it, but RGB ram is a common cause for a AIO cooler not to fit in a case that would normally take it....

True, it's different cooler but still applies to the example in my opinion. Giving it a try can never be bad I think :)

Its just a few screws in the corners on the radiator and fans.
You undo the ones fixing the fans to the radiator, then the ones fixing the radiator to the case., turn the radiator the otherway up and move it up so its sitting over the top two front case fans, put screws back in, reattach fans in same orientation as they were before.

You can (while you're at it), see if it will fit in the roof without hitting the RAM, which should give you better cooling performance.

This is the second build in a few days done like this.

The clearance of RGB ram might be the issue, with a 280mm rad but i’m not certain.

The pump is the higher point in that loop imo and will therefore get air in it, which will cause issues and degrade the pump much faster.

Lets assume RGB ram is the factor here... radiator should have been mounted to the top 2 fans and had the hoses at the bottom (this takes more effort though).

But lets assume the radiator had to go front mount and the bottom 2 fans (for some reason). The 2 fans should have gone to the roof as exhaust and not front intakes. But i can’t see why they couldn’t use the top 2 fans.

Here is a Phanteks p400, which can’t have a too mounted radiator, yet a radiator can still mount to the top 2 fans, with hoses at the bottom (he needs to dust it ffs):

You can, but thers a few weeks waiting doing that...

Its a 20 minute job, few screws, nothing complicated with rewiring or anything.
If you look at how the fans are screwed on, and the radiator, then the case where they attach, you should be able to easily see where its attached, shuffling it about is just undoing some screws and then putting them back in once repositioned.

If it really puts you off that much, im sure someone could do up some simple diagrams in paint showing you what is being talked about, but I assure you its all straight forward (I get the feeling half your worry is youve just not done it before)
