Build arrived but looks messy :/

Got my build delivered on Tuesday
But the cables seem messy???? :(

and someone in my discord said something about the pump not being positioned properly?

“the pump is situated higher than the radiator, although the cables are higher which may be okay. the highest point of a watercooled loop is where the bubbles are and normally if a pump is higher than your radiator then it'll have a lot of air inside, which will reduce the pump's life”

Can you take the glass off and resend the pic? There's a lot of glare and reflections as it is, it does look fairly messy though but I'm sure we could help walk you through rearranging it

I know you asked for some help with your build before - but it isn't clear which build you actually went for in the end? Could you post your full and final specs here for us?

Its best practice to position the radiator higher than the pump but there might not be a location within your case for that to happen (depending on your spec etc, as @NoddyPilot requested it would be helpful if we could see your final specs - you can get them easily from your order page in a nice copy/paste format)? You could look to see if you can mount it elsewhere and its not too difficult a job to move it if that is something you would want to try yourself. Alternatively, I think from other discussions it makes sense to rotate the radiator 180 degrees so the inlet/outlet from the radiator is at the bottom of the rad (thus air bubbles would propagate at the top). Alternatively you could move it to the top of your case.

The cables look 'ok' to me but I perhaps have a higher tolerance for that sort of thing, they're potentially easy enough to re-route but you might find they've been cable tied in place quite tightly so you may need to spend a fair bit of time swapping them about.

I’m in work atm but will take pics when I’m home and get my final spec posted too.
I’m just annoyed that I’ve paid extra for someone to build it because but now it’s looking like I need to move stuff :(

Not sure what case it is, but it appears to be able to mount a 240 and 280mm rad on the roof, however, RGB ram could be an issue and if that is a H115... that could be why they front mounted.

I agree with @steaky360 though, definitely turn the radiator upside down - fortunately Corsair AIO’s have nice length hoses.

I’d cut the cable tie that is holding the gpu+24 pin together and just route the gpu cable under the gpu and out through the bottom hole.

If you feel that you need to move things around, or are advised on here to move things around, I would strongly suggest that you phone PCS first in order to establish why they have built it in this way.

It might be a screw up by the builder but equally there may be a valid reason. I really would ask them before making changes.

Sorry they have posted sideways! Also the spec above I switched out the 3060Ti for the 3070 and paid the extra...so I hope that’s what’s inside...haha

Looks like the pump is higher than the radiator so that shouldn't be an issue with the cooler

The GPU power cable is annoying me though. I would cut that cable tie and then refeed the GPU Power cable through a lower hole and up but that's just preference

It doesn't look too bad with a clearer look but there's a couple places that you could tidy up easily by just pushing things back or added a cable tie or two

Hey man, don't like that GPU cable so much haha. Would you mind telling who built the PC as well? I'm curious about it

Ok...Photos of the case...cant see half of it... can you take a picture of the acutal side of the machine, not just inside it?
Cant see front fan setup or anything, and you seem to be taking all the photos sideways too....

The build specs are a bit pick and mix... and its looking like the radiator went in the front possibly due to choosing RGB ram so doesnt fit in the roof with that case.... and youve got extra fans....

Its a messy build compared to most PCS ones..but I personally believe theyve been rushing it for a while now unforunately, and you likely have new staff in too they had to take more on to keep up. But then again, its a messy spec to start with.
A bit of rooting around and it can be tidied up a bit.

Well the only extra fan I can see is the exhaust one, which makes sense to have, but that fan shouldn't take up space for top mounting radiator... Wondering why no one of the staff said anything when this got into QC...

The pump should not be the highest point of the AIO surely? The top of the rad - opposite end from the hoses - should be highest for a front mounted AIO?
