My old PC Specialist PC is due for retirement after 6-7 years of hard graft.
Looking for a new PC that will last for the next 5-6 years and not get outdated too quickly.
I'm not a hardcore gamer anymore so am not too fussed about playing the latest games in 4k VR etc etc.

any advice on the below build would be appreciated.

Classic games like Rome total war, Medieval 2.

Will mainly be used for trading (stocks/crypto),(multiple windows open, trading charts, etc etc) sometimes as a Plex server, downloading the odd torrent and for movies.

Biggest thing is that it will on for like 10 hours a day most days in an office so needs to be quiet as possible.

I guess my questions is, is there anything better i can get for £1500?

Ideally, you would want the TUF X570 board with the 5800x.

At the risk of being a nay-sayer, if you were looking for the quietest system possible (as per OP’s request) you’d actually want the Strix B550. With the absence of a chipset fan it’ll run more quietly than either of the above options.

Although that’s more in terms of audio work than daily office usage, just a point I thought worth mentioning.

Get rid of Bullguard as Windows defender is more than enough, also you don't need arctic paste on the corsair AIO's the paste already applied is high grade.

You want either the STRIX B550 or ideally ROG STRIX X570 for the 5900X. Personally, I don't think you need the 5900X for your applications and you could spend the extra cash elsewhere on the build. 250GB is very small for an OS drive nowadays. It would be better at 500GB. You don't need the Arctic paste with that cooler. You most likely don't need an extra card for USB ports. You definitely don't want Bullguard. It might be worth sticking with W10 until all the bugs with W11 have been ironed out.

Any reason for the sudden change to Windows Professional? The majority of people don’t need this.

Given that the case comes with 3 fans and you get 2 extract fans on the cooler, I don’t believe you need the extra fans.

If you want it as quiet as possible I would get the Define case if it's available. Paired with the H115i or H150i it would do really well.

The 601 is a poor case for thermals.

Edit: Looks like they have sold out. Maybe worthwhile getting one and sending it in yourself.
