Build advice.

I have ordered a custom build PC with the Corsair Crystal 680x and the H115i water cooler. Is it possible to mount the radiator of the H115i in the roof of the case (ie. at the top?) as I know the radiator on the h115i is slightly larger than the h100i

Ok I wasn’t sure if the case was big enough for this. Originally I was going to have the 465x case but this wouldn’t allow the h115i.
The 465 wont allow the H115? That seem strange as my 4000D is only 14mm wider and would comfortably fit a H115i

Would you recommend I buy 4*8gb or 2*16gb RAM. The motherboard I’ll be using is dual channel. Is there any performance difference?

We can't really comment on individual components as they all interrelate.

If you post your full specs we can give much better advice.

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you're unsure?

What are you using the PC for?

I’m likely to get the Odyssey G9 and I will use the PC for gaming mainly... sim racing specifically
Cool, thanks....

Just a couple of amendments I'd suggest:

Get the Samsung 980 pro as the primary M2, it's PCIe 4 and obviously like double the speeds.

Up the PSU to the 850RMx as a minimum.

You've got no wifi or bluetooth on the build? Just in case you meant to add it, the AX200 is the card to go for which includes both.

AMD actually performs slightly better with 4 sticks of RAM. BUT there are currently stability issues with 3600MHz. Often reducing the clocks down to 3533 will restore it, but just worth highlighting. At 3200MHz, you should be fine with 4 sticks.

Nearly forgot, I'd suggest upping the board to the X570 Strix, reason being is the Tuf has limited internal USB headers and won't be able to accommodate the BT card if you add it, it should be find if you don't want bluetooth.
