Well at a quick look there's more than just the cooler needs sorting, I suggest you give this a good read:

Monitor - looking at running with the samsung G7 at 1440 which i have already
Uses - Running for high spec gaming
Budget - just about the 2000 mark

What will you be using your build for what would be your max budget and could you include the config link like the picture below what monitor would this system be paired with for'a 5950x you would want the best available cooler possible in your budget if this is purley a gaming build the 5950x would be a poor choice the 5900x is a better fit for gaming in some cases the 5950x is actually worse then the 5900x in gaming

Your budget is £2000 but you have a 5950x a 3080 and 32gb of ram this is nowhere near your budget is this the right spec you have posted ? If its just for gaming could possibly go for a 5800x 3060ti build

The idea is I’m moving in streaming using the cross threads so the 5950 would be best for multi performing. Also trying to future proof as games are moving to use more cores. But I mainly wanted to know if I can get away with the 360 pc frost cooler or do I get the Corsair 150?

Id personally go for the corsair and would not go for a 5950 unless I was doing heavy production work the 5900x would be more then enough for gaming and streaming but your money and I can only give you advice its ultimately your choice :) if your going for 5950x 3080 build the 1000w psu is a better choice and a better motherboard may be required to get the most of the 5950x

The new consoles only just started using 8 cores and they normally have a 3-4 year life span I doubt in the next 10 years gaming would jump to using 16 cores

I value the opinion as my research only tells me so much. if I was to go for the 5900, keeping the 3080, best off getting the Corsair 150 cooling with an 850 or 1000 power supply? With the same motherboard? Only other choice for mother board on pc specialist is the Asus Rog 570f or the Asus crosshair?

Most of the other speccers opt for the ASUS® ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING (USB 3.2 Gen 2, PCIe 4.0) - ARGB Ready! better vrm and power delivery the 1000w psu would be for future proofing and with the added headroom runs quieter and more efficiently better to have a psu not running at its max

Only thing I would suggest is having a 2nd m.2 drive one 500gb for your os and another for your games

1st M.2 SSD Drive
500GB SAMSUNG 980 PRO M.2, PCIe NVMe (up to 6900MB/R, 5000MB/W)
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB INTEL® 670p M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 3500MB/sR | 2500MB/sW)
