Had this pc since lockdown currently playing on 1440p. Mainly use My pc for streaming and long gaming sessions. What would you recommend to upgrade as I know this is probably very out of date.

Where is it lacking at the moment?

If it's just FPS, then the key items would be the GPU and CPU - unless it's a resource heavy game where it needs fast access to assets from the HDD - as most current games almost demand a fast SSD.

Otherwise we'd just throw a new GPU (and possible PSU upgrade) at you and a much faster boot SSD and games storage drive (keeping the HDD just for documents/media).

Think current problem I'm having is fps when streaming and running games hitting maybe 100 odd/ when streaming the frame rate csn tank making the watching experince sometimes unbearable. As for graphics some of the newer games the graphics card isn't able to run atall

What make and model monitor are you using?

Ooooft, it's an old TN panel.

One of the biggest areas that you'll see a huge increase in visuals will be a proper monitor upgrade but lets leave that for another time.

I would personally shoot for an RTX 4070 for around £470 - 500

And then a 5700X3D processor (You'd need to first flash a modern BIOS to be compatible) for around £210 (you could keep the same cooler)

That would get you back up smashing that monitor and with modern games.

I would definitely throw a second M2 drive into the mix as well. It doesn't need to be anything special but if you're putting games on the primary drive you're going to see it slowing down significantly if it's filled more than 50%.

I would consider the 4070 Super as well, if you can get it for a decent price. I wouldn't pay 100 difference though, more 50-70.

The 7900GRE from AMD is worth a consideration as well.
