I think you'll be happier really knowing that you're not stressing the header as much. Headers can give up the ghost without warning and there ain't no way to fix 'em!

Yeah, you definitely don't want to overload a header, once they're gone they're gone.

Fixed. I'd done the cable management so brilliantly* that there was enough free cable on the third front fan to reach all the way to the third motherboard header. You can all sleep easy: my case is RGB as anything and my motherboards are safe.

I was actually surprised at how easy it was to manage the cables in the case. The rubber grommets (?) are accessible and it's easy to make it all look neat in them. I am also making quite a collection of old parts in my six-month-old computer: three fans and a CPU cooler. At some point I'll upgrade something that really affects performance.
Anyway, that's how I spent my Friday night. Time for a bottle of wine, I think.

Never had them before now actually. Just stumbled on them in my (ever expanding) beer section in my local grocery store. I'll keep an eye out for their other types.....
When I saw where it was made I had to get it. I've beeped the horn over Chico more than once.....
