I have connected the antenna that comes with the motherboard, Wi-Fi works fine. Bluetooth shows up fine on Settings, but when I try to add a device nothing shows up, and the PC does not show up on any other devices. I have the icon in the hidden icons tray, but "Allow a Device to Connect" is greyed out. Have obviously checked flight mode is off and Bluetooth is on! Have tried earphones, several phones, and a PS4 controller to no avail.

Looking for any advice whatsoever, happy to provide any info needed.

Thanks in advance!

I assumed so based on this?

So can you go through adding a device and take screenshots as you go?

Selected 'Bluetooth':

It just does this for as long as you let it, same thing when you click 'Wireless display or dock', and clicking 'Everything else' shows one of our TVs but nothing else.
Did this whilst having two phones with Bluetooth turned on and two pairs of wireless earphones in pairing mode next to the PC.

No problem! Think we all need naps by the time it gets to Thursday!

I tried this, and realised that somewhere along the way I had already downloaded this file.

Long story short, finally got Bluetooth working!! This is how, for anyone else looking:
  • Ended up in Armoury Crate looking for drivers (in 'Tools')
  • Found that a couple of drivers were already ticked for installation - including the Bluetooth driver
  • Downloaded and installed, restarted PC, Bluetooth is now working great!!

Thank you so much for your help!! :)

Well done, that is unusual for Windows update to not have found the relevant driver itself, glad you got it working (y)

You just have to be careful with drivers in Armour Crate, as they're not always the latest (of course if you have none installed they're better than what you have), and has been known to overwrite newer driver versions.
Agreed. I have an ASUS motherboard and I never use Armoury Crate since the software is hit or (usually) miss and can unnecessarily take up performance. I personally download the drivers directly from the motherboard support/driver page on the ASUS website instead.

I'm having the exact same issue as @lougo98 - I just fired up my new PC, only to find that I can't connect any of my bluetooth devices (keyboard/mouse/etc) to the desktop.

I've downloaded this driver, extracted the files, run the AsusSetup application inside, restarted my desktop, but still Bluetooth refuses to work.

Windows is fully up to date too. Is there anything else I can do? I'd rather not use Armoury Crate unless absolutely essential.

Not to worry; I called PC Specialist directly and they sorted me out after taking remote control of my desktop. All fixed!

Thanks anyway though - you are all so helpful :)
