Hey people,
I got my beautiful Defiance III last week and barring a minor Alt+Tab issue which is now resolved everything was peachy. But while playing World Of Warcraft Legion last night i suffered what every pc/laptop user fears, the Blue Screen Of Death!!
I was running around minding my own business when it happened. I am not overclocking (CPU or GPU) and i don't even have the settings at "Ultra". When the system rebooted it blue screened on the desktop after log in, reset again and blue screened at the Warcraft sign in page and one last time it blue screened in browser after reset while i was trying to look up "Help me I've blue screened" pages.
Now following that last one i reverted the system to an earlier state and i don't want to jinx it but i didn't get another fright for the extra hour i played before bed.
I am currently running MemTest86 to attempt to eliminate the chances of it being the RAM. Then i was going to try Prime95 for the CPU and FurMark for the GPU.
Does anyone have any suggestions of other things to try and troubleshoot this issue to see if i can replicate and hopefully eliminate it happening again?
I have the Silver Warranty with PCS but i am reluctant to send back my new baby so soon if there is anything i can do. Below is a list of installed programs and my specs. Any help would be much appreciated as always!!!!
