Blank Screen on Boot

I've been having issues recently with PC where it frequently has a blank screen on boot. Static noises come from speakers and nothing displays. This then requires multiple restarts before it then shows windows login.
The issues started about 2 weeks ago. Since then I have used DDU a few times (reinstalling with an older driver version from nvidia and also the latest), and have checked everything else has been updated, including the nivida update tool for display ID. I have switched display port cables as well as the receiving port and tested the monitor. I think the issues started after an automatic windows update, however on the nvidia subreddit I had read other people having similar issues since their latest driver update.
It had resolved for a few days after turning off auto hdr but that may have been coincidental since the error has happened a few times since.
When I power on the computer and monitor, it shows the display port source on the top right of screen, then goes blank, then goes blank again and the 3rd time it either displays picture with display port hdr on top right of screen or it goes black with static noises. Very occasionally the PC specialist logo comes up with option of entering BIOS when booting PC, then this loads to Windows login. Let me know if any other info is needed, thank you.

If you ensure that the monitor is powered on and awake before booting the PC do you still see the same black screen?

Next time this happens try booting the Windows installation media, see whether that boots normally.

If you suspect a Windows update as the probably cause then uninstall the update and see.

Here are screenshots from normal boot and failed one.

Normal takes 50seconds

Thanks yeah I tried there and it worked by putting on monitor first. Would you mean reinstalling windows?

No, I'm not suggesting a resinstall, but if you can boot the Windows installation media ok then that suggests that (most of) your hardware is probably fine and this is a Windows issue. But if the Windows installation media won't boot then it's a hardware issue for sure.

Ok thank you I’m not technical at all, would that be booting from a USB drive if it happens again?

Yes. It doesn't have to be the Windows installation media, a Linix distro, or anything that's bootable. The idea is to try booting anything from a USB drive to see whether it boots normally.
