The more I look think you may be right, may have been released in around May last year to the PCS configurator. But how did we know it was ATX 3 if it wasn't listed on the configurator as such?
I think someone asked PCS for the Corsair model number and we checked it on the Corsair website

If you decide to update the BIOS, please ensure you get the okay from PCSpecialist BEFOREHAND, to avoid invalidating your warranty.

That BIOS is a bit out of date, but don't see any specific fixes for any 7800X3D worries.

Latest BIOS is F34a...

There's also a AMD Chipset Driver update to v7.01.08.129...

Not sure what the Alienware update will actually do as there are no update notes, but I've done it on mine without issue.

The chipset driver will usually come with a Windows (optional?) update, but if it hasn't then simply download it from the link provided and double-click on the file to extract/install it.

The BIOS is slightly more involved, and I'll not detail that until you've got authorisation from PCSpecialist.

So the AMD chipset update appears in the Giggabyte Control Centre App but this is the message I get when it trys to install

I've seen that a lot, and it seems to either be the installer not having permission write to the folder, or a corrupted file in the Gigabyte app.

A newer installer, direct from the website might help, but it may also just need to be run as administrator.

Aha, begs the question what anti virus are you running? I’ve seen this where the AV will incorrectly delete the extracted contents of the driver as it flags it as suspect

I had something similar a couple of months ago, but can't remember the steps I took to fix it, as the next version installed without issue.

Do you have an AMD folder at the top-level of your C:/?

If so, try deleting that (as it might contain the corrupt file) and try reinstalling.
