Hey guys. I am going buy new mechanical keyboard and mouse. What is the best keyboard and mouse to buy. Money is no issue.

If money is no issue then Ducky are second to none in the keyboard department so I'd definitely recommend them, I think Overclockers are the only official supplier of them in the UK

When it comes to mice it's very heavily skewed to personal preference. No matter the cost I think the Razer Deathadder is the perfect mouse for me, it's relatively cheap considering the market but to me it stands above every other mouse I've used just for sheer comfort

I use a G915 keyboard and a G903 mouse (both logitech wireless) and can totally recommend them! Very long battery life and really pleasant to use!

As said above though, I reckon a keyboard/mouse is something (if feasible.. given the odd current times) is better tried before you buy if possible.

Its probably we will all have differing opinions on what constitutes 'best' - it all really comes down to your preference :)

Money no object the Corsair K100 with Optical switches would be my choice of keyboard right now. For the mouse I have the Iron Claw, which I wouldn't recommend, and the M65 RGB Pro which is fantastic.

I would say, as above, the mouse is more subjective than the keyboard. Just about any well known mechanical keyboard is going to be fantastic.

I looked at that. Looks a nice keyboard. Only problem is. Won't have enough USB ports in the back as I have got

Webcam
Stream deck
Microphone
Headphones
Keboard
Mouse

So if I remove old keyboard and mouse and bought the k100

Wont have room for mouse as the k100 got 2 usbs

Unless i don't need to plug both usbs in

Are there not 7 USB ports on your motherboard?

Would the microphone & headphones not be more suited to the front ports?

Aye to those Ducky's... and they're shifting stock some so they must be good. Couldn't find any for love nor money when I was looking to buy.
Tbh this last build was my first dive into mech kb's, previously being served ok by mostly gaming laptop (membrane/dome?) kb's before and generally not using kb for games outside of strategy ones (yes, I'm a mainly controller peasant and too cackhanded a kb'er for faster games) Anyway, after my usual extensive review trawling for features and such I went with an Asus ROG Falchion (Cherry Red) as wireless functionality was a big check for me (to use at desk pick up to go on the TV next door) I've mitigated the clickiness nicely with an O ring under each key.
That K100 is a new one on me but at that £200+ price? Nah, my limit is a bit less and the same reason I didn't go Logitech.

For the mouse... my G602, while still going after 6 years in action, lacked in DPI and polling so needed updating. Initial first choice was the successor G604 but a lot of reviews citing left click issues within a short term put me off. A big shame as a G602 with more speed would've been perfect. If I can get a G604 cheap in a sale at some point I might still try one out. I ended up with a Dark Core Pro over an Ironclaw due to the latter having a size and profile for larger hands/a grip that I find fast fatiguing. My only real complaint with it other than less buttons than I'd prefer is how light it is. The RGB is nice though lol.

Is the keystroke adjustable? I wondered if that was one of the perks of optical, like you get with magnetic.
