Be for i change the fan?.

Hi. Be for i change my CPU fan is this one ok. My Fan at the moment is a Freezer LP 7 from Arctic Cooling. The CPU heat sync is fine it just the fan it self. I have brought the whole package and comes with the heat sync and fan but like i said the heat syn is fine so i just want to change the fan. How ever if i did change all it would this be ok to put in a Q6600?. I no that my socket is a 775 and that this fan is made for the 775 socket but is it ok in a Q6600 for gaming?.

Im also worried that the fan color is different to mine as my fan now is black and the fan blades are black but this one are white. Does this make a difference?.

It just that i do alot of gaming on this machine and wanted to no if i got the right fan as same as the one i had originaly.

Well, given both fans have the same name, I would hope they would be the same, its possible theyve just changed the colour of the fan since your first one was manufactured.

Why are you replacing it? Has the old one broken?

Im changing the fan because it just keeps stopping and starting and when it does start you can here a buzzing noise which sounds like the motor.
