I'm the same actually, I keep putting it off.

Is anybody pre-ordering a disc version or have you all gone for cheap keys? I can find a download version for £27 but I'm afraid my download speeds will cripple me on release day. Unless I can pre-download a couple of days before...

Gonna just go for Amazon, £30.99 for disc. Free 1st class delivery for release day (the Friday). On Amazon the digital download code (also £30.99) is made available at midnight on the Friday but I don't know if this is the beginning or end of the day!

After more searching, I can find no evidence of being able to play the beta early unless you order the digital deluxe version on Origin.

I also preordered disc because at the time it was £10 cheaper than every digital download :S

What can I say I'm a scientist, no proof = no believe! I think we have our wires crossed somehow, since your link still says order the digital deluxe for Origin to play the beta 3 days early. I was originally talking about preordering the basic version on disc (apologies if I didn't make this clear). There is a possibility I'm being a 'tard though (as ever).

Have you looked at the table in the link? I even included a screenshot of it in the post. You have to the Digital Deluxe via Origin OR own BF3 Premium OR own MoH Warfighter Limited Edition / Digital Deluxe Edition to access the beta on October 1st. Everybody is October 3rd. That's three different ways you can access the beta three days early.

Yes I looked at link, same info as in link I posted a few pages back (AFTER my original post asking the question) . Like I said, wires crossed...apologies...I was originally talking about preorder methods only.

Yeah normal pre-orders won't get it, but it doesn't matter where you pre-order from if you have BF3 Premium which is why I didn't mind saving loads compared to Origin's price by going elsewhere.

Don't see the point in paying an extra £14 compared to amazon just to get the beta 3 days early. Its only a beta anyway, its going to be buggy and your score and rankings will be wiped out when the beta has ended. I'll play it a couple of times and wait for the full release when I can properly enjoy it, with slightly less bugs

edit, just looked at the pricing on origin, wow 45 for the game and 40 for premium. I dont think I could do it ded, I mean 85 quid on a single game? Really?

I also oddly haven't even bought that many games lately, so gave myself a reward...buy using the money that could otherwise have bought about 6 games

Heh, I know what that's like DED. When I was saving for the PC I almost started spending what I had not long before I finally decided to go and order.



I completely forgot about the Beta yesterday, after thinking to myself the day before "I'll make sure I download it ready tomorrow--got to make sure I don't forget".

what timezone can we start though? i mean it says on origin that its 0900 but is Uk time or erm some silly US time?
