Anyone playing SWTOR?

Just wondering your opinions on it? Once I have my PC built I'm considering getting it, I'm a casual WoW player and love the game to bits, just want to know how it compares?

I'm playing SWTOR and I used to be hardcore WOW player when WOTLK was out. I had stopped playing MMO's and decided to give SWTOR a try after a friend saw it was soon out so we bought the pre-order editions.

It is very good, the controls are very WOW like, and the gameplay is good. Also the storyline is much better than WOW's. Instead of quests giving you the same ol'pattern of killing and getting items for no reason that actually interests you, the dialog and cinematics interest and involve you in the story.

All in all I'd recommend it to any MMO fan.

Nice, can't wait to order my pc and start playing it... Sounds so good. Such a big SW fan too, only worry is it might make me not want to play WoW anymore xD

brulei pretty much sums it up, had a quick run of it at the weekend and I would definitely recommend SWTOR after playing for just a few hours. Since TBC I've just been bumbling around on wow and playing for boredoms sake but SWTOR is definitely engaging, can't wait for the pc to arrive then can give it a proper shot :)

I've been playing it for about 2 weeks now and can say I'm really enjoying it, I used to play wow on and off since 2005 and like sarahlou I'd just play it for boredoms sake, especially since how easy it is now. SWTOR is much more engaging and it is more difficult to play, if you want to tank or heal you have to really learn your class and when to use what abilities other wise you will probably die, something WoW now lacks.

Ah cool, my char's name is kordelka if you want to add me. I only play about 6 hours a week. I am not playing that much at the moment :p

But I'll be on it steady 6 hours I think.

Also going to buy next week, hopefully my computer will come just before my week holiday.
Then I can ***** the game without having to worry about getting up early for a whole week, woohoo. :D
