ANumber of issues with Brand New Nexa 540 PC from PCSpecialist

hello All,

very happy with my product and purchase, however ever since i setup it up there has been major issues with slow network Speeds on Wifi, seems ok on LAN, which is what i have it connected on currently,

my laptop however has no issues with wifi speeds, and is no where a beast of a spec like the PC Specialist monster i have.

the second issue i have is no sound, i am using Logiteck speakers a left and right side speaker with a woofer, and when connected correctly no sound at all, i also have tried connecting the 3.5mm jack from the woofer to either Audio port at the back of the Nexa540 but nothing, i know they work because i try them on the la[ptop and no issue, also when i try connect the bluetooth circular remote to the speaker sounds do come from the speakers

Finally when starting the computer up over the weekend for the first time it asked me to Activate my windows, i would have assumed that the windows that came with the ,achine was a;ready activates, long story short where do i find the activation key, i assume again this is supplied in some sort of box or paper work

Hi, sorry to hear you've been having issues.

Did you get the PC directly from the PCS website? Can you post your full specs from your order page (removing the windows key). What you've pasted above looks like its from a product page or something so might not be your actual specs hence asking.

Wifi speeds issue
It might seem like a silly question, but happens a lot, have you installed the antenna's onto your PC which will have come with the wifi card / motherboard?

Sound issue
This is more difficult to fault find remotely. When you click on your speaker, have you cycled through whatever options there are to ensure you're not (accidently) outputting to/via the wrong device?

Windows Activation
There is no activation key on windows, you just need to sign into windows and it'll essentially tie the windows activation on that machine to your login (whichever one you've chosen to use). There is no requirement to activate windows.

EDIT:
As an side... I'd personally recommend you remove Norton with impunity as it will only add to the issues (in my humble opinion).
