I buily my current PC (I7 2.8 GHZ, 18Gb memory) over12 years ago but now it is showing its age and is begining to struggle with some of the applications i use. Currently it has a 8GB Nvidia geforce RTX 3070 but i would like a new Graphics card but i would still like to use my old one.
Anyway i am having a few issues in deciding whether to go AMD or Intel especially regarding longevity. My current system works fine but obviously can't be upgraded to Windows 11 so i feel its time to replace it.
I am a keen Gamer (Balders gate 3 world of tanks, City Skylines 2, Fallout 4/76 etc. ) nothing to heavy and everything plays just fine except my Modded fallout 4 but thas my fault for too many mods .
I am very into 3D Moddling etc, i currently use - Fusion 360, Daz Studio 4 and i am currently learning Blender so i need a system that can handle the load. Fusion 360 struggles a bit opening some large projects and rendering in Daz studio 4 can take forever.
Any Advice or suggestion would be really great, forgot to mention i run a twin monitor setup but would likew to upgrade my main monitor with a 32" curved monitor.
Having had my OIntel I7 system for 12 years i am a bit reluctant to go for AMD. Currently i have specked this system
