AMD new stock

As Sunday isn’t a working day for PCS, it’s possible they won’t be on the website until Monday, but do check tomorrow.

They are an AMD partner so will have stocks on release day, it’s just weather they break non-working day policies as it’s a special release day.

I have a feeling they will update the website tomorrow. This is probably the most significant CPU update in 10 years or so.

I'd be surprised if the new stock wasn't up tomorrow, as it's such a huge launch with new CPUs and the Navi GPUs and new motherboards.

Though we could end up with a weird situation where the stock is available for order but the phone sales lines aren't open.

Also I'm not sure what time the NDA lifts. It can be aimed at a different part of the globe than the UK, so new stuff may appear at a slightly weird time. Anyone know?

How hard it would it be to schedule all the things and link the trigger to a giant, circular AMD button? Probably not that hard. They must have had all the necessary information for weeks if not month. Apple used to have their up new stuff up on their website several days before the official release date and people would find them with clever url tricks. Wouldn't be surprised if right now, there is a PCS underworld with everything we want, just waiting to surface.

I still find it strange to be looking forward to an announcement from AMD after their years of stagnation but all credit to them as they really are making quality stuff at the moment.
