So details have leaked for the next AM5 socket hitting motherboards in 2022.
Totally new socket design following intels LGA pins being part of the motherboard rather than the CPU (very welcome).
Likely no PCIe5 support, not that that’s going to matter for GPUs at all, but could affect storage speeds.
There will be DDR5 support.
It would mean that there would be no compatibility with any existing CPU’s.
