Advice on new Gaming build / £1800 budget

Hi guys,

Put together this Intel build to be used for gaming. Want a good base to upgrade to upgrade from, I know nothing is futureproof but I don't want something I'll end up having to replace in a few years.

See spec below, Any thoughts/suggestions? I think maybe a better case for airflow is a must at least. Budget is about £1800 - no monitors bought.

I see that motherboard has built in WiFi, from a quick bit of research is it using the same AX200 from my build? The access to 5ghz is important for me, plus the bluetooth is handy! Would that motherboard be capable for both?

Also I see it uses 2 M2 SSD's but no storage drive, is this by design? Sorry if that's a stupid question. Cheers

Yes that motherboard uses AX200, as for the drives, the smaller and faster one is for your OS and programs, and the larger slightly slower one for your games

The motherboard supports AX200, but I cannot confirm from the ASUS website whether it also has Bluetooth. If you want additional storage for files that don't require fast access, a 2TB Barracuda HDD is less than £50.

Thanks mate, I shouldn't need more storage. I was under the assumption I'd need a main storage drive and the M2 SSD's we're complimentary. Didn't know that I could use two M2s and omit the storage drive. Thanks!

The M.2 are storage drives mate, they are just the new standard of SSD. The OS should be installed on the smaller faster M.2 SSD, the idea is to keep this under 50% full to maintain optimal speeds of the operating system. The other drive is to fill up as much as you like

The Wifi card on the ASUS TUF Wifi is the AX200 I believe

Yes they will install it on the fastest drive, however it's up to you to make sure you set games to download to the games drive when you download and install them
