Hello everyone,
Following the advice I received in my previous thread and the insightful reading recommended by Scott, amazing work by the way, I'm back to seek further guidance for my high-performance PC build because I want to make certain I chose the right system for my needs, I previously wanted a desktop which would be more powerful but a laptop also seems like a good option due to portability and my Uni work. I am struggling to weigh all the pros and cons and would really appreciate if someone could help me come up with a new spec.
I would firstly like to note that this is my first custom PC build and other than having the base knowledge when it comes to components I am a beginner and do not know a great deal on how all the parts work together to create a optimised system. I have ADHD so keeping track off all the different factors to take into account is rather difficulty especially since this a high spec system we are talking about so high stakes. Any help whatsoever would be so appreciated.
Monitor: Currently, I have a 49" Odyssey Neo G9 DQHD Quantum Mini-LED Gaming Monitor. I'm open to getting a new dedicated 4K monitor however that I would use in a separate workspace with which ever chosen system if needed and my budget for a new monitor is £800.
Uses: The primary use of this system will be for my Uni work and prospects after Uni which would typically include, 3D modelling with Blender, and Unreal Engine 5 as well as other heavily processing software's, However I also want it to handle any game I through at it. I need a setup that can handle intensive graphic work smoothly.
Max Budget: My maximum budget for this build is £4800 (Including the £800 budget for the monitor).
I would appreciate your insights on the following:

Final thoughts: As of recent I have went back to the idea of getting a Desktop system instead, as mentioned by Scott I could use a standard laptop to remote access to the desktop using Moonlight or sunshine. As you can see from the specs of these previous build drafts you can see that I tend to go for the dearest/best option possible which I know isn't always the best thing to do.
If you were in my shoes what high spec desktop would you create for my Student and future creative media work taking all the above into consideration?
I'm open to any suggestions and would highly appreciate your expertise in these matters. A big thank you to Scott for the foundational advice and to the community for your continued support.
Looking forward to your responses!
P.S I could not attach the quote PDF's as it's not a supported format for some reason so I have attached them as separate PNG pages instead if this is helpful at all, however a new quote is the gaol here and looking very forward to working with you on this. If you have any questions whatso please let me know.
Best regard,
Jon F

I would appreciate your insights on the following:
- CPU Choice: Given my needs, would you recommend AMD or Intel? I'm looking for a balance between gaming performance and the ability to handle 3D software efficiently.
- Motherboard and RAM: What are the best options for a DDR5 motherboard and RAM that would complement the chosen CPU?
- GPU: Which GPU would you recommend that aligns with my monitor's capabilities and my workload?
- Storage Configuration: Suggestions for an optimal storage setup that balances performance and good storage habits. Please keep in mind that storage for me right now isn't a deal breaker as I can always upgrade in the future however I do want a minimum of an overall 8tb SSD.
- PSU and Cooling Solutions: What PSU and cooling system would be suitable for such a build?
- Case and Wireless Options: Any case recommendations? Also, if there's a need for wireless options, what should I consider?
