Advice Needed

I plan to use pc for gaming, watching YouTube, streams, heavy web browsing with many chrome tabs open, multitasking

I have some questions:

1)
Which is better:
3000D Corsair Case VS 4000D Corsair Case?

2)
Should I get a better CPU fan, even though 9800X3D is already cool? And which fan?

3)
Which is better:
Samsung 990 Pro m.2 VS Solidigm P44 Pro SSD m.2?
(Keep in mind 990 Pro had degradation issues)

4)
Current power usage is 463w and PSU is 750w max.
I plan to overclock gpu and cpu, add ssd satas, and upgrade my GPU later

How much watts of headroom should I give myself? And how much max watts PSU?

..........

Should I change anything?

Thanks in advance for any help

What games? What monitor? What budget?

If you can provide the green configuration link, that would be very helpful.

Latest modern games at almost max settings. needs to be good for multiplayer and big games like Star Citizen

1080p monitor for now but I plan to upgrade to higher refresh rate

I already bought the pc. Just wondering if I need to edit any parts. But I can dish out another like 2k euro on it

So what's the total budget?

What kind of monitor will you be going for? You say "higher refresh rate": does that mean you'll be sticking with 1080p? That's definitely not what I'd recommend.

the pc was €2721
I have €2000 left

Why not?
So total budget €4700?

1080p is far from the gold standard for PC gaming now: indeed it's been basically abandoned by monitor manufacturers except for those hawking absurd refresh rate displays. You have a much better experience playing at 1440p or ultrawide resolutions: personally I don't think 4K is worth it. For your money you can buy an amazing monitor (such as the Alienware QD-OLED 1440p one) and get a way, way better experience than anything 4K will ever offer. I would choose a monitor commensurate with your budget and work out the ideal PC based on that.

With that said, there are likely to be new graphics cards out in the next 2-3 months that will change the game at your budget very significantly. In your shoes I'd wait until then to decide.

Why do you think 1440p is way better than 4k?

I think it's a better choice because the improvement in image quality moving to 4K is only moderate, while the computational effort needed is so much higher, so you end up with a lower frame rate. 1440p is a great halfway house: good image quality and good frame rate, without needing to spend the absolute maximum on the very top-tier components.

High Refresh rate is important for me.
Do 4k monitors offer smoother gameplay or do they have same refresh rates as 1440p?

I'm not that versed on monitors tbh

How high though, and in what games specifically?

144hz?

240hz?

360hz?

540hz?

In some games you’ll be lucky to see 60fps at 4k ultra with a 4090 (i.e. Black Myth Wukong).

You can mostly buy similar refresh-rate monitors, but you will struggle to drive a 4K 144Hz display to its maximum in a lot of games because it's so demanding. You'd have a better all-round experience with 1440p or 1440p ultrawide.

My personal recommendation would be to go with something like the Alienware AW2725DF

But there are other choices around too. My recommendation would be to go and research what options you have and work out what PC you want based on that, because you want them to be a good match.

360 looks like a good number

I'll be going with an 1440p thanks to your advice

1440p with 360hz refresh rate

I take it you've never actually played at high refresh, are you coming from console? Have you been measured above 120Hz?
Not coming From console just been using 1080p 60hz monitors

But since i heard high refresh rates make games feel smoother ive been wanting that experience

High doesn't make games feel smoother, not sure where you heard that, all it does is increase your reaction window. But 99.9% of humans can't tell any difference over 120Hz

Don't be suckered into influencers. Take some actual knowledge from experienced gamers and buy a decent monitor rather than a sales pitch.

My cpu is the best for gaming: 9800X3D
Gpu is top tier too. 4070ti super
64gigs ram

I think my pc will be able to handle any oled 1440p monitor i throw at it, right?

What monitor do u recommend ?

That's not top tier, that's mid range

Why so much RAM? What use?

An actual gaming monitor
Regard

4070ti super is literally in the top 5 gpus. How is it mid range? 4080 super not much better so i went with 4070ti super

So u have a problem with 4070ti super not being good enough, but have a problem with 64 gigs of ram. I wrote in OP i need to use chrome for multiple tabs and multitasking

"An actual gaming monitor"

Very helpful. Why bother posting here if you're Gonna be a smartass?

If you go with that Alienware 1440p 360Hz display I linked above (it's the monitor I'd buy if I had your budget), I'd then recommend this system to go with it. It's still overkill in some ways, but it's really good.

Case
FRACTAL NORTH TG GAMING CASE (BLACK) A really good case with good airflow and good aesthetics. The 5000D would be my alternative if you prefer something that's more of a black box
Processor (CPU)

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Eight Core CPU (Up to 5.2GHz/104MB w/3D V-CACHE/AM5) The best gaming CPU
Motherboard

ASUS® TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI (AM5, DDR5, M.2 PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 7) Either this or the Gigabyte you selected will be fine
Memory (RAM)

32GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 16GB) More than you need for any actual gaming scenario. 64GB would be a waste of money
Graphics Card

16GB PALIT GEFORCE RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMEROCK OMNIBLACK - HDMI, 3 x DP Probably the right tier of graphics card, but the 4080 Super wouldn't be stupid (I'd still wait for the new generation in the new year, though)
1st M.2 SSD Drive

512GB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7000MB/sR, 4700MB/sW) Boot drive
1st M.2 SSD Drive

2TB SOLIDIGM P41+ GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 4125MB/sR, 3325MB/sW) Games drive
Power Supply

CORSAIR 1000W RMx SERIES™ - MODULAR 80 PLUS GOLD, ULTRA QUIET Best to have more power than you need due to (a) efficiency, (b) noise, (c) power spikes, (d) upgradability, and (e) the fairly small additional cost
Power Cable

1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead, 1.0mm Core)
Processor Cooling
CORSAIR iCUE H115i ELITE CAPELLIX XT RGB High Performance CPU Cooler Overkill cooling, but at your budget it's probably the best option from PCS's selection
Thermal Paste

STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
ONBOARD 2.5Gbe LAN PORT
