Advice needed for new machine for work

Hello All. Hope someone can help here. I’m looking to upgrade my machine for work purposes. It will be a real graphics jack-of-all trades, and I use mainly 3ds max, C4D, blender Modelling animating and rendering both cpu and gpu) and Adobe after effects and photoshop and ZBrush and I’m just starting to use unreal engine. (A little gaming but not much) and am wondering if either of these specs are good or if anyone has better recommendations. They're both coming in at £3.5 K though I do have more in the budget if needed about 4.5-5k max.

It’s been a while since Ive had to configure a new pc so am a bit lost. Intel or AMD? How many fans?

Monitor: dual Dell P2415Q 24" Ultra HD Monitor though one has just died

AMD is the only option

Thanks. I thought I had read that there was some benefit to using intel over amd’s with some 3d programmes. But with the over heating and power consumption issues and the reports of bugginess the decision is easy to make.

I'm not an expert with things like Blender etc nor am I sure how much the new GPUs offer over the previous gen...will need someone else to weigh in on it. With that in mind, I've adjusted the spec to create something more balanced (some options you wouldn't have seen when you drew up your spec as I have done it on a different configurator):

Case
FRACTAL NORTH TG XL GAMING CASE (WHITE)
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16 Core CPU (4.3GHz-5.7GHz/80MB CACHE/AM5)
Motherboard
GIGABYTE X870 EAGLE WIFI7 (AM5, DDR5, M.2 PCIe 5.0, Wi-Fi 7) - I don't see the benefit of the Crosshair, given it's huge price. Gigabyte boards are better than Asus these days. If you want Asus, then maybe go to the Strix.
Memory (RAM)

64GB Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 6000MHz CL40 (2 x 32GB) KIT - 2sticks is better for performance than 4. WOuld prefer lower latency but 40 is the lowest for 64GB.
Graphics Card

16GB PALIT GEFORCE RTX 5080 GAMEROCK - HDMI, 3 x DP - Newer generation. As mentioned, not sure how much better it is for editing etc.
1st M.2 SSD Drive

512GB SOLIDIGM P44 PRO GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 7000MB/sR, 4700MB/sW) - Better to have a small Windows drive.
1st M.2 SSD Drive

4TB CORSAIR CORE XT MP600 NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD (up to 5000 MB/R, 4400 MB/W) - Ensures you still have plenty of fast storage
1st Storage Drive

16TB SEAGATE IRONWOLF PRO 3.5", 7200 RPM 256MB CACHE
Power Supply
CORSAIR 1000W RMx SERIES™ ATX 3.1, MODULAR, CYBENETICS GOLD - Has extra headroom for possible GPU upgrades later on in the PCs life, maybe consider the 1200w as the budget is there
Power Cable

1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead, 1.0mm Core)
Processor Cooling
CORSAIR ICUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB HIGH PERFORMANCE CPU COOLER - Vastly superior cooler which will be need given your uses
Thermal Paste

STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING - No need as the cooler comes with machine applied paste already
Sound Card

ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
ONBOARD 2.5Gbe LAN PORT
Wireless Network Card
NONE OR ONBOARD Wi-Fi (MOTHERBOARD DEPENDENT)
USB/Thunderbolt Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS
Operating System
Windows 11 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence
Operating System Language
United Kingdom - English Language
Windows Recovery Media
Windows 10/11 Multi-Language Recovery Image - Unlimited Downloads from Online Account
Office Software
FREE 30 Day Trial of Microsoft 365® (Operating System Required)
Anti-Virus
NO ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE - Don't include Norton, it's pretty much garbage these days
Browser

Firefox™
Warranty
3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) - Minimum warranty really...£5 for an extra 6 months of C&R
