What monitor will you be using with it? And is it just gaming you will be using it for?

Can you also include the config link found at the bottom of the spec's page you copied from so we can make adjustments :)

MrWilson

Godlike
can you do that ? and yes mainly game on a asus 164hz monitor
The monitor model name or resolution would be very handy to know, this is likely a 1080p or 1440p display.
Either way the 3090 is massive overkill for the monitor, you're looking at spending upwards of £750 on a suitable monitor to make use of it.

Also, what games do you play? The vast majority of titles only need 16GB of RAM.

Yeah that computer will play any game that currently exists and any game that's likely to exist in the next 5 years.

You would want a 4K monitor though to get the most out of it as well, it's massively over specced for pretty much anything

Absolute beast

thank you

It'd be quicker if you post the "Unique Configurable URL" from the bottom of the post to forum page as I/we can simply edit the spec rather than either going through an entire new one or spending a while typing out the various changes
updated link in main post thanks

I've done this spec on the notion that your current monitor is a 1440p ASUS TUF monitor such as the VG27AQ https://www.asus.com/Displays-Desktops/Monitors/TUF-Gaming/TUF-Gaming-VG27AQ/
The build has a 3070, which is a much more appropriate fit.
The 5800x CPU is a better fit as well, it has faster single core performance and 12 cores aren't needed for gaming.
16GB of RAM is plenty for EFT and all FPS titles out at the moment. RAM is also something very easy to add at a later date.
Rejigged your storage to have a 980 pro for OS and programs, a 2TB Firecuda for your games, and a 2tb HDD for general storage where premium storage doesn't make a difference.

You do also have the option to go with a top tier graphics card e.g 3080 (or 3090 if you want to pay a large premium to have a shorter wait time) but as mentioned above you would need to sink £750+ into a Superwide 1440p or 4k144hz display to make the most of your purchase.

Thanks for the advice, there seems to be a long waiting time on the 3029 anyway.
