I'm wondering, wouldn't it interfere with wifi and Bluetooth signals? And... of course, 5G 😁 🤣It’s obviously a first gen version from a particularly dodgy Chinese manufacturer, but it does mean it’s clearly getting more feasible and they now have a new standard out that increases available bandwidth significantly. Fingers crossed the more mainstream companies start to concentrate on it a bit more, and who knows, within 5 years or so we may have it baked into the monitor!
You should have sent it to your local museumThe Agent Cooper Church of Cable Management and Latter Day Saints is very interested in this development, I am all about technology like this.

In other cable related news I found one of these in my man drawer earlier. Can’t actually remember the last time I used one so binned it.

The cats normally love playing with / biting any exposed wires and cables so I initially gave it to them to play with. When even those two showed no interest in it I knew it was officially dead tech.Eeeeurrrggh... I was clearing out my parents and found 2 (actually very nicely built) Monster Scart cables, they went straight to the dump!
