Absolutely gutted

Elimina 17.3" and cooling fan fresh out of the box.

Now have to wait another week for the return and repair process to be carried out.

What’s the issue? Can’t make it out on mine?
What Stevey said. Sorry for the crappy image quality. This morning was hectic. It has to be a delivery issue because I can't see PCS having shipped the items in this state. Also, is the battery supposed to be attached to the laptop upon arrival do you know? The returns video says to remove it but it came already slotted into the laptop

Shipping Lithium batteries can cause some headaches, it makes it easier to ship without. I think PCS are probably saying to remove it to make it easier for yourself.

It was likely damaged during transit but there's no real way of knowing that for sure either.

Hopefully they it sorted for you quickly mate, it's just a pain that

Thanks for clarifying Stevey. I have removed the battery as advised in the video. Really don't want anything else to go wrong. Here's to hoping the turnaround with be quick and straighforward.

Edit: forgot to add, you guys have been immensely helpful. Upgrading from my Cosmos (it was and is perfect, but has a meagre GTX 1050 that is becoming more and more useless by the day), and had initally ordered an Elimina Pro. Switched last week to an Elimina after reading your discussions on the chassis and am feeling glad that I did despite this setback.

Shipping batteries as an integral part of equipment is generally acceptable - when they are loose it quickly gets much more complicated. Removing before a return is probably just to avoid any possible headaches at all.

Sorry to hear about your issues - and fingers crossed they get sorted quickly and correctly.

That’s a real pain, sorry, they should turn it around as a priority though I’d expect.

You don’t have to wait to redeem the code.
Huh?? I read the following as I need to redeem it on the machine I want to play it on (becaue it's tied to the GPU). Can I do it from my other machine?

From PCS: "For digital promotions, please do not activate the code until you are using your new computer because you cannot use the code twice."

Oh apologies, I didn’t realise it needed to read the hardware ID of the device, that’s all new fangled stuff.

Ignore last comment
