A few bits of information are needed to offer appropriate advice:

- Maximum absolute Budget: So we know what we have to utilise

- Just for gaming? Or any other uses to bear in mind? Streaming, editing, productivity etc?

- Monitor: This is important for a gaming system as it dictates the graphics card needed...no point overspending if not needed. Make and model or resolution and refresh rate

1. Happy to spend up to and around £1800 ish
2. Mainly for gaming with a bit of standard use (i.e YouTube, Shopping etc)
3. I currently have 2 x ACER KA222Q, but happy to get others if needed

Thank you!

Those monitors are 1080p 75hz, the GPU you’ve selected will handle 1440p 144hz or 1440p Ultrawide.
A décent 1080p display Will set you back around £180, while a decent 1440p display will be ITRO £300. A £1500 1440p gaming PC is doable, but you will need to cut back in certain areas, so if you’re able to stretch the budget a little further that would definitely be the best option.

Could that be something that I could purchase a bit down the line? Or would you recommend getting better monitors at the same time? Thanks for your feedback mate

If it'll be a few months later then that's perfectly fine, as long as you have an active intention to upgrade, that's the important thing. There wouldn't be any point spending lots on a GPU that could show 200FPS when your monitor can only show 75 of them!

For a sweet AMD 1440p gaming rig, I'd be looking at something like this. The other option is obviously Intel which are rather strong right now. I haven't maxed out your budget, purely because I don't think you need to. You could either put it into your monitor fund, or spend it on small upgrades to the build, let us know if you'd like us to spec that up and we'd be happy to (y)

Any questions, ask away!

Thanks for all this. It's been a great help. I really like the look of this! I have just been looking at a few monitor options, what would you recommend? I was possibly looking at the 24" MSI Optix G242

The G242 is a good monitor, but it's only 1080p, and with this sort of budget, and the GPU specced above I would definitely recommend opting for 1440p. Good monitor picks around the £300 mark include the Asus VG27AQ and the Dell S2721DGF.
