6800xt info

Got some info on the 6800xt for any1 that cares. They recieved around 200 orders on launch day and are expecting 30 at the most in December. Also if u are waiting on a 5900x if one is assigned to u without gpu in stock it gets assigned to someone else so I'm out the 6800xt queue

We've had reports of 0, 40-ish and now 200-ish.

Maybe they're just giving random number out to make the information look more 'genuine'

I stopped playing, and 'settled' for a twin-fan Zotac RTX3070 (unfortunately with no flashy RGB ) for now.

Ouch now that is low in numbers with 6800xt. One of the sales team previously told me that even if I remove gpu out of the order i may still have to wait to jan.
I take this video below with a pinch of salt, but I guess there's nothing wrong with getting my hopes up a little.

There have been several people who ordered a 5900x after me and have gone into building or even recieved the system so its definitely the 6800xt holding things up. Worst part is if ur 5900x comes in but there is no 6800xt ur 5900x goes to someone else who has everything in stock meaning you have to wait till a 5900x and 6800xt comes in at the same time. I too am considering just removing the gpu and trying to buy one on my own

I might consider to remove gpu from build, as the likelyhood would be Feb scenario waiting on 6800xt. So much for AMD reps promising that there will be plenty of aib and ref gpu coming in Dec

Yup the problem is PC specialist are only getting the xfx reference in so even if there are plenty of sapphire or gigabyte cards etc it wont affect us

I would take any information about quantities and models with a grain of salt, no offense, but we've had conflicting reports from customer services before.

It wouldn't make sense for PCS to only stock one AIB model at all. As they did with the 3080 it would make more sense that they'll snap up any they can.

On the other hand £636 price for 6800xt on PCS build would be the cheapest price and I doubt the other online retailers can match it if they do have it in stock by then.

I thought they only sold zotac,palit and Asus for nvidia? I hope you are correct about the 6800xt but I've heard from more than 1 person it's just xfx

No, they got any cards they could, including gigabyte and others.
