Which benchmark did you run? Was it called Timespy or Firestrike?I did, however, run 3DMark this morning and the display was brilliant...it gave a score of just over 8200
interestingly, there is a note in the settings that says "selected display is not validated as G-Sync compatible" so not sure what's going on there as surely that would mean there shouldn't be a G-Synce enable box).
60hz and 144hz are very specific numbers. Your framerate usually won’t be either. Where your PC’s framerate doesn’t match your monitor’s refresh rate, you can get stutter and/or tearing. Tearing is where the screen is showing parts of 2 frames at once.

I’m surprised that didn’t auto install, but yeah, normally pci devices point to chipset.Thank you. Installed that Chipset Driver and there are no longer any Yellow Exclamation Marks....though I am not sure if it's because the drivers have been fixed or the Chipset drivers uninstalled the PCI stuff as those 3 items no longer list anywhere in device manager
Interestingly, my computer is running quicker now! I am noticing a speed difference when opening new browser tabs etc...was quick before but even quicker now
The discs would be outdated by a long way especially concerning chipset drivers. Always use the website.Yeah, I would've expected it all to auto-install...and, failing that, install when I installed the motherboard chipset stuff off the DVD. Those exclamation marks weren't there when I first got the computer and I presume PCS just installed things from the discs etc so not sure why it would be different this time...only things different internally from then is the addition of a Samsung SSD and a Blu-Ray Burner
Thanks...the PCS person who dealt with it was excellent and a credit to the company
It's funny...the infuriating part isn't the fact that it has wiring that cannot be disconnected...it's the fact it requires the total destruction of the builder's awesome wire management!! It felt like sacrilege....I found myself quietly apologising everytime I cut a zip tie
That's how PCs should look! And so you should, having seen some evidence of what you do with your cables, I can only assume that the innards of your PC now look like someone has thrown a bowl of spaghetti in there
Okay, I take it back. That's not the crime scene I was expecting to seeI refute that!! My under desk has zero cable management because, well, it's too much effort. Inside my case, however, has my best cable management skills at work:
