The 5 short beep code is related to the system not finding a CPU.

This could be PSU failure in the fact that the CPU power is no longer operating

Could be motherboard related if it's been running too hot for extended periods.

I would create an RMA through your online account

I know some of the documentation states that 5 beeps is a CPU issue, but I've also seen a number of threads on Reddit, etc that relate the issue to GPU/Monitor. So my initial thought was that if the system presumable functioned correctly before you formatted the SSD, then it was a software based problem, as nothing changed in relation to the hardware. So I thought that switching to using the onboard graphics might allow it to POST and let you install drivers etc in Windows.

But you also stated that you resetted the RAM etc, so now there is a hardware change to factor in the diagnosis. But I'm unsure of what to try next, so I'd agree with Spyder that perhaps next step is to contact PCS and seek support, and possible return for repair.

You was correct it was my gpu. Found out somehow the hdmi lead came out of my monitor. Strange how it bleeps 5 times and throwing a cpu error up.

For anyone else reading, this is why a few of us will not recommend Gigabyte boards.

gigabytes use the AMI BIOS which has the 5 short beep code to mean CPU error where it's not detecting a CPU.

Gigabyte have duplicated this beep code to incorrectly call out a Video error which should be 8 Short Beeps.

It makes troubleshooting very challenging.

There are other bugs on the boards such as very long post times (over a minute) on some of the latest 2 generation boards and other issues.

Normally beep codes will be found in the manual or at least clearly outlined on the manufacturer website (like Asus' site https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1029959/), but Gigabyte don't do this. They have a forum entry which again just lists the generic AMI codes

It can be a nightmare in incorrectly troubleshooting.

Not trying to save my own skin here, I totally incorrectly assumed it was an Asus.
