4K for gaming isnt normally a wise idea as you cant get the FPS I dont know if thats a concern for flight sims maybe? I would of thought it would still matter. There are new GPU's due in a few months, that might change things with 4K but im not sure how much by..
I would still imagine a very expensive build, even then.

What kind of budget do you have, and would you consider 1440p screens instead? (much better for gaming)
I'd also reconsider your storage options, you wont get much on a 256Gb i'd say minimum 500Gb, 1Tb if you play more than a couple of games, the 64 Gb RAM is not going to be much use either, 32GB is going to be more than enough and aim for a higher speed (think 3200MHz is limit with 32Gb on PCS) .
Was there a reason why the 1000W PSU?

Thanks for the response.

Yes I wanted 4k, but think it may be at the limit of graphic cards due to the FPS issues as you say ( and from what I've read elsewhere), so perhaps 1440p better.

Wanted to put the OS on the 256gb SSD and the games on the HD, 8Tb due to size of scenery libraries for flight sims.

Went for the 1000w PSU so I could get two higher end graphics cards at a later date when the new GPUs come out.

Your ram is probably too much and also too slow.

Motherboard 570f

32gb 3200mhz is what you want.

Your drives, get the 1tb firecuda

The cooler change it for the 115i platinum.

Don't need extra paste

Upgrade the WiFi to ax200

When you post your spec, include the configurator and then it's easy for people to edit.

Others will give you more help with the GPU and other parts. Your PSU is possibly overkill

This is a very good and useful guide

Have now reconfigured based on some of the feedback! Thank you. Any further feedback welcome!

When you say 4k multi monitor what exactly do you mean?

I meant three 4K monitors. Is it possible?
Not a chance. With a 2080ti, you'll manage around 80fps on one monitor.

Even with the upcoming 3080ti which is set to be 50% stronger than the current 2080ti, you'd maybe manage 2 monitors just over 60fps but certainly not three.

I'd suggest a 1440p Superwide would give you a much better experience overall. This monitor is quite simply the best thing coming to market available anywhere:

It's currently got teething problems and they've pulled it to address them, but I don't think it will be long before it's back on sale.

That you could drive at around 80fps with a 2080ti and would give room to grow with future GPU upgrades.

Completely agree with the advice on the G9. Especially considering flight simming.

You'll get away with a 2080 Super as far as flight simulator goes, but if you want to make the most out of the monitor in other games you will likely need to consider the 2080Ti.

Is there any reason for the 10GB Ironwolf drive? Seems excessive to me.

That G9 monitor looks amazing! That’s probably the route I will take, thanks for that. Here is a hypothetical question, because I don’t have the budget for it, but would a 2080ti run two of those monitors to get more wrap around visuals? If not would a 3080ti?

Re the the 10tb hard drive, the flight sim scenery is enhanced by azure server so uses a lot of bandwidth, but you can cache it i.e. download it to a HD if you don’t have the bandwidth.

I would doubt it but you never know. The G9 is basically 2 screens side by side with an exaggerated curve that will likely have a similar view to 3 screens to be honest. Wrapping 2 of those around you would be very unusual IMO.

10TB seems like huge overkill to me to be honest. It's very expensive for what it is :)

Plus with 2 you’d have the center view in the split between monitors which would be awful. You never game on 2 monitors because of this it’s either one or three.
