Hi,
I'm not a pro at desktop pc, but i can tell you this without a doubt, don't go for that build
The cpu is no good (2 gen older - AMD may be better), the storage is weird
You definitely want to upgrade the warranty

So, if you can wait, i'll let the desktop pro answer to their best ^^

Why is no good the cpu?

I heard the 12900kf is less warmer than the newer generations, and has more bios comoatiblity with msi motherboards.

And the storage I though was planned in this way:

- 500 gb ssd for Windows
- 4 tb ssd for programs
- 2 tb ssd for audio library
- 10tb hdd for video and images library
- 2 tb hdd for safety automatic copy of the system

Does this make sense?

What should upgrade or downgrade for efficient with the components?

The cpu is 2 generations old, so, even if you want to go to the intel route, you should go for the 14th generation
And AMD is better than intel theses days.

It's not the repartition that's weird (although), it's the SSD model choice that is, like, the 990 pro is the best suited for the OS, not the 970 evo.

Otherwise, I think other members may help you better, like @SpyderTracks @Scott or @sck451

Little over budget but a better build for me.

I'm unsure why you would want compatibility with MSI motherboards though.

This forum is purely for PCSpecialist systems, they come fully built.

If you wanted to buy from elsewhere or build yourself, you'd have to get advice from another forum.

Thank you for your help! @Tron1982 @SpyderTracks @Scott

Two doubts:

- why not going for a faster ram like the 6000mhz of corsair?

- will the noctua NH-U12A cooler system will work with this build? I did not find any noctua in the pc specialist catalogue

As above, we can only advise on PCS systems, they don’t stock noctua.

They’re fully built systems, you can’t buy individual parts.

Thank you for the advise @SpyderTracks !

Also, do you know why @Scott recommends me the

64GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 5600MHz (2 x 32GB) AMD

instead of the

64GB Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 6000MHz (2 x 32GB)

is not 6000mhz better than 56000 Mhz?

Yes, 6000 is better than 5600, but the Asus boards have been having some issues with the combination of large RAM sticks and high speeds, and there's not a lot of difference in your use case (might be 1% worse) - and I'm sure stability is more important than that extra 1% performance.
