I have already called in and they said I will need to cancel the order as it’s through finance. I’ve been waiting 2 and halfs months so don’t really want to start over again.

is sticking with Intel really going to impact the performance?

can I not improve the build in anyway?

thanks for getting back to me guys
i mean intel wont "impact" the performance, the performance is still there, it is just that it is overpriced.
As for other improvements, you can probably still take advice people gave you regards the antivirus and such.
I am sure someone more experience will give you advice on optimizing intel build too. Most people are still sleeping, give it few hours

To make it worthwhile on intel you’d need to swap to a 10th gen cpu, the 10900k, 11th series actually perform worse than 10th gen while using significantly more power and far more heat. As such, your build will already be 2 years old, it’s just a really bad investment.

I would take the hit and cancel

"I don't like sand. It's all coarse, and rough, and irritating. And it gets into Intel's processors." xD
