3060Ti 66 Working Days, should I give in?

I know this probably a lot of these posts but, but I am currently on WD 66 of waiting for my order to ship and I keep getting the emails:

"You are welcome to continue to wait for this GPU and orders will be fulfilled in date order but we are still unable to advise when orders will be completed due to a weekly allocation on this card and would recommend an amendment at this stage. The RTX 3060 and RTX 3070 are also in shortage but are in a stronger position than the RTX 3060 TI, if you would like to consider an amendment to an NVidia card. If you would like to consider AMD, the 6700 XT is available and in free stock. We are working hard with our suppliers to secure additional allocation."

My question is, should I just bite the bullet and switch to the AMD card? or since I've waited this long should I just hold out? I've always wanted a Ti card just for the feeling but I honestly don't know a great deal about the difference in the cards so any help you could provide would be great.

Again I know these threads are probably annoying by this point so feel free to remove if not allowed.

Build in question:

Thanks in advance

That's a nice build mate, the problem with the 3060Ti is that there doesn't seem to be any sign of them showing up anytime soon.

The 6700XT will serve you well though it's a very solid card and even slightly better than the 3060Ti. Just depends on how much you like the Nvidia features like DLSS? the 3070 is your only other option instead of the 6700XT without breaking the bank and getting a 3080

We love you Ukraine
price difference on what? the 3060ti to the amd?
I believe so, yes, it's a worthy upgrade to the 6700XT.

Also, on the DLSS front, AMD are just about to roll out their version of it any time now:

It's worth saying that the "Ti" designation is merely about the cards place in the product lineup -- it means it's above a 3060 and below a 3070. There's nothing particularly special about it other than the name! In performance terms, the AMD 6700XT fits in the (not enormous) gap between the 3060 Ti and the 3070.

My problem with the 3060Ti naming is that it's far more powerful than the 3060 and relatively close to the 3070 in terms of performance but shares the name with a card that it's got a decent performance boost from.

It's very easy to confuse them for people who don't know better which is just silly

Ideally :-
|3060 -----> |3060TI ----->|3070

It's closer to this though :-
|3060 --------> |3060Ti --> |3070

Initially 3060 should have been 3050Ti and the 3060Ti should have been named 3060. But wait, 3060 would be associated to 1660 then :ROFLMAO:
Conclusion - it's a big mess.
