Thanks - but why does the order not allow me to choose to which M.2 SSD I load the OS onto? Does PC Specialist just choose the fastest automatically? One for OS, other makes for rapid game loads.

Yep, although if ordering 2 M.2 could be an idea to just make sureThanks - but why does the order not allow me to choose to which M.2 SSD I load the OS onto? Does PC Specialist just choose the fastest automatically?
Exactly, small and fast drive for your OS and programs, larger one for speedy storage.Thank you for the spec!! May I ask, what's the purpose of having 2x M.2 SSD drives? Do they complement each other somehow or is the faster one meant to be where the OS is stored on? I can't see the option to assisn the OS to either M.2 when proceeding with the order.
They will as standard install it on the faster drive, I had to ask that question when I bought my system. To make sure I had it on the drive I wanted, I used the live chat functionality and the (very helpful) operator logged my request and included it on a note to the build team 🙂👍Got it, I'll ask the Tech Team to confirm for safety, thank you!

Happy to help!
You can drop the Arctic thermal paste as the Corsair cooler already comes with it's own high quality paste pre-applied. And if you can squeeze out an extra few quid, it really is worth going for the 500GB 980 (look at the difference in the read/write speeds!)
Other than that, looking great!
Also could be potentially worth changing the case to the H500M, it's ahead in terms of CPU/GPU thermals and noise according to GN: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3448-corsair-680x-rgb-high-airflow-case-reviewSwitched to the 500GB 980 as advised, thanks! Noted on the paste!
Not currently in stock, though...Also could be potentially worth changing the case to the H500M, it's ahead in terms of CPU/GPU thermals and noise according to GN: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews/3448-corsair-680x-rgb-high-airflow-case-review
The H500M has better front panel I/O in 2 more USB 3.0 ports and some additional features like the GPU arm and a swappable glass front panel.
Yeah, it's a beauty, My next system will likely be going in one of those... or the Lian Li 011 Dynamic MiniYeah I was interested in it but it wasn't in stock. With that said, I do much prefer the asthetics of the Corsair 680X!

Both stunning cases!
It does not. If you want WiFi, get the AX200 for an extra £19. Has built in Bluetooth connectivity as wellI forgot to ask the new motherboard - ASUS® ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING - doesn't have WiFI right?
Thanks - done!It does not. If you want WiFi, get the AX200 for an extra £19. Has built in Bluetooth connectivity as well
When your PC eventually arrives, please remember the two bits of black plastic in your spares box....Thanks - done!
I'm intrigued... what do these magic bits of plastic do??!When your PC eventually arrives, please remember the two bits of black plastic in your spares box....
You may find these solve your poor WiFi issue 😉
They reach out into the Ether to catch the electromagnetic radiation emanating from your wireless router and convert that radiation into an electron stream that carries the 1s and 0s representing the information being transmitted.I'm intrigued... what do these magic bits of plastic do??!
