The Elite is the newer model, has a slightly improved pump and the plate is a newer design to provide more efficient cooling. The RGB aspect is also brighter! They’re both excellent coolers 👍

You actually wouldn’t get much benefit from the higher frequency RAM, it might shave a second or two off certain applications but it’s hardly noticeable in use.
Amazing thanks

I have downgraded the Ram and uprated the cooler

Pro ram looks nicer but does nothing extra.

any other suggestions?

Hi, just a quick question.

Ordered the 3060 as advised, but the 3060 TI is only £70 more.
would this be a better option or is the normal 3060 better ?

For video editing, there's minimal difference. If you are using high-res footage (like, 8K), the 3060 is probably actually better. For gaming, there's a significant difference and the 3060 Ti is much better for gaming at 1440p.

thanks for the response.

I may start gaming to as they have tempted me with my first game. Resi evil village

I would not need 8k for sure, but want best bang for buck, considering the GPU's prices atm the 3060ti would hold more value and i wouldn't see much difference ?

It kinds of depends what monitor you're going to end up with. If it's 1440p, definitely go for the 3060 Ti. If it's 1080p, there's no point in the upgrade as the monitor will be the bottleneck.

Most likley 1440p if i can handle it
Everythings just expensive atm.

so if i did want to upgrade, id want the best gpu for now which will resell for most

A 1440p gaming monitor will be around £250-300. If you think that's a realistic upgrade in the next year, get the 3060 Ti. If it's not and you'll be sticking with 1080p for a fair while, get the 3060.

The downside of buying while prices are as high as they are now is that you won't get such a good return (probably) when you come to sell it second hand.

3060Ti are almost impossible to get mate I haven't seen one since December when I bought mine. You could be waiting forever and an age to get a 3060Ti and there is no guarantee Nvidia will send anymore out there.

As much as it's the best budget to performance GPU on the market, they are just impossible to get right now. Fair warning
