I have an old Synology and their new offerings are really underwhelming. I want to upgrade, looking for a 12 bay box I can run UnRAID on, primarily for acquired media, backups, etc. Doesn't need huge amounts of oomph as it is mostly a file-server, so RAM and a space for an SSD cache is more important than lots of compute power. I do use a NUC currently which does most of the leg work of stuff I want to do in Docker but if I could combine the two that'd be good. Any thoughts?
