This is a spec my frind has sent me for his Desktop Pc. He is gonna play mostly Total War Games and Football Manager etc but may branch into more intensive games.

Needs a monitor and mouse/keyboard

Total War titles are some of the most intensive games around tbh.

I'd strongly suggest your friend waits until 7th July for new CPUs to come out. These will very likely offer better performance and value options than some of the above hardware.

The system is very poorly balanced. Overspending hugely on the motherboard, slow, single-channel RAM, a poor value CPU, a weak graphics card etc.

Best to wait ~ 1 week and see what the new CPUs have to offer.
