Fantastic! So this rig would be the most ideal. This is all very valuable information to me as someone who has missed gaming on PC so much. I’ll also be jumping into Linux rather than Windows having had some decent experience with it on a Steam Deck.
This recommended rig also means I’ll be able...
Thank you so much! This helps me a ton!
As much as I’d love to have the 5090, I suppose my TV wouldn’t get the best use out of it with its refresh rate. As long as a 5080 can play the grand majority of current games at the best settings with no compromises, then great!
So say the 6000 series...

Hi there! I haven’t used this place in around 9 years since my last PC I purchased, though the time has now come that I have to get a new one. I’ve been using a GTX 1080 for a long time now, and my PC has struggled to play games for several years. Team Fortress 2 caused a blue screen in about 3...

So I’ve owned a PC with a GeForce 1080 for about 9 years now, and it’s now the time for me to get a new PC as everything has gotten slower and Windows 10 support dies in October. My specs are too outdated to upgrade to Windows 11, and I’ll be making the move to Linux personally due to getting...

Hi there. I'm new to the forum.
I'm looking to get a new desktop PC in the future now that the GTX 1080 is out. I have a desktop currently with a rather rubbish processor and graphics card, but I was wondering something about the hard drive I use.
I'd like to continue using my 1TB hard drive...
