I hope that's straightforward to do.. As for a monitor, probably still a 1080p but 144hz max. Money permitting in the future may go to 4k but that'll be at 60hz and any thing higher is astronomical.... Oh i also occasionally play and watch via my TV. Sony KDL-W829b. That probably doesnt help

I think it might be wise to factor that in. Considering my monitor won an award in 2010 means that would probably be best upgraded too at some point. If you put a better graphics card in based on me upgrading my monitor later, what would it need?? Also - i saw from your link (thanks for that)...
