By the way, for my Asus board, to enable firmware TPM I just had to search for 'TPM' in my BIOS and find it. Should be helpful for anyone else running a recentr ASUS bios. TechRader has an article covering S mode here (there's also a Microsoft one but its a bit covered in marketting speak).

Though some of these stutters seem to be caused by alt tabbing. Ran a memory diagnostic test and it turned up no errors either.
