I've considered buying a steering wheel setup for the few days a year I decide to play a racing title, or have a go at farming sim because even the controller whilst steering REALLY breaks the immersion for me. Not sure I can steer with a keyboard.
For real. I always thought my aiming problem was because of me (and to be fair, it partly is - I don't seem to notice hostiles as quickly as other people do - no idea why) but my goodness am I so much better with a mouse. I play a lot of simulations so having the keyboard and mouse for those has...
Huh?? I read the following as I need to redeem it on the machine I want to play it on (becaue it's tied to the GPU). Can I do it from my other machine?
From PCS: "For digital promotions, please do not activate the code until you are using your new computer because you cannot use the code twice."
The smoothness and the slickness. I always swore that I couldn't use a keyboard and mouse to game, but now when I try to use my xbox controller I feel like I'm fighting with it. The joysticks are just so darned slow, even on the highest settings.
It seems to be the case that it was damaged in transit, but it's hard to know for sure. I'm willing to bed the box was dropped, thrown or trodden on. The LCD screen has a line of dead pixels, and my cooling mat is somehow punctured/dented. Weird, because the packaging for that is intact.
Edit...
It's amazing when first switching to a proper gaming rig isn't it? I always had fairly cheap notebooks with integrated graphics and would just muddle through the lag and slow load times, partly because I knew no better. I got a Cosmos 18 months ago and it still amazes me with how quick it boots...
Thanks for clarifying Stevey. I have removed the battery as advised in the video. Really don't want anything else to go wrong. Here's to hoping the turnaround with be quick and straighforward.
Edit: forgot to add, you guys have been immensely helpful. Upgrading from my Cosmos (it was and is...
What Stevey said. Sorry for the crappy image quality. This morning was hectic. It has to be a delivery issue because I can't see PCS having shipped the items in this state. Also, is the battery supposed to be attached to the laptop upon arrival do you know? The returns video says to remove it...
Not op but I just got a 5 day fast track and it was at awaiting dispatch by the morning of day 4 (so technically built in 3). Of course none of that matters now that the laptop has arrived damaged and needs to go back for a week for repairing

This includes some extra optionals like a cooling stand. You could also swap out the SSDs with smaller ones or ones of a different brand to lower the price a bit.
