Hi. Hope this is the right area for this.
Looking for a gaming laptop for portability, mainly for msfs and other sims. Either ELIMINA 16 PRO GAMING LAPTOP or IONICO MASTER GAMING Laptop.
IONICO I can go to an I9 of course but unsure if this is worth it. Both will end up having a 4060 and 32gb...
Well, I'm writing to you on the new pc. Really really pleased with it, was able to set it up without any problems and plug everything in correctly. Really positive experience with pcs and thanks for all the forum help.
Thanks, that's a great description, not too different from the other one then just some small changes, nice to have a fan controller. Now just to wait for tomorrow...
Hey. So some of you may remember me asking if people could describe the define 7 case layout for me a while back. Turns out that's out of stock till May so I had to change to the be quiet base 601. My pc's arriving tomorrow after 21 working days, yay, but I'm now not very familiar with the...
Decided to go with the be quiet case since I do have water cooling.
For those with a similar build, I was very surprised but it went into building this morning and testing this afternoon. Changed delivery to Saturday on the off chance it gets out by tomorrow afternoon although doubt it, so probs...
Slightly off this topic of wait times then, but anyone have case suggestions for alternatives to the define 7. I chose it for best balance between quietness and cooling and water cooled, not sure what to go for now, maybe the be quiet case?
Oh the guy i spoke to did say the define 7 was out of stock but suggested it might be back in by the time my build time rolled around. I guess maybe not, may have to look at changing that then.
Hi all.
Just to give you people waiting some ideas of my experience, here is my spec, and according to pcs should go into building very late next week or week after, so around 26/28 working days according to them yesterday.

FRACTAL DEFINE 7 BLACK QUIET MID-TOWER CASE...
I did hear the fractal define seven has a door at the front, would it be easier to open that and remove the foam or is it necessary to use the side panel for that.
A couple of questions for when the pc does arrive, since I'll be sorting it myself and the welcome pack will most likely only be in print, if people could describe to me a bit. So I know I need to remove the foam through the side panel. I also need to ensure my display is plugged into the...
So final spec (I hope)

Unfortunate pcs don't seem to have the noctua air coolers available atm because I've heard very good things. Maybe I'm being overly-cautious and should just go for an AIO since noctua is unavailable and I've heard the frost flow fans aren't up to much. The 3x CoolerMaster SickleFlow 120 pack...
Yeah the main reason for me pushing quietness is I'll have a screen-reader going, if on flight sim possibly ATC programs too, it all adds up so even if it's a small difference I'd rather spend the extra, have a quieter case and offset that the best I can with the best possible air cooling. Not...
Okay. Decided to stick with the fractal case for now for quietness and sort it's slightly worse cooling with fan overkill, maybe too many fans see what you think, but everything else is set just messing with the case trying to get quiet enough but not terrible air flow. Would rather pay whatever...
thanks. I made most of those changes, might keep the original case just because I want it to be extra quiet. Hopefully the pcs fan will be enough along with 2 x 120 thermal case fans. I did notice you changed to 3200 mhz ram, is that just to reduce to the price, I had seen some people talk about...
