    Looks like it is a monitor issue, I found this reddit thread with people having the same issue - I'm ordering a new higher quality displayport cable which will hopefully fix the issue for me.

    The headset is running from USB C, I don't know if that would make any difference. I will test with HDMI instead of display port to see if that helps at all, but the monitor had been running fine from my laptop until my PC arrived.

    Removed 2 sticks of RAM. Has unfortunately not fixed the issue, still getting random black screens in games.
