Just got an update, I am told that there is some movement with my order and it seems like they are printing out the spec sheet for part picking now, so I got a new estimate of another 2 weeks, but also told it could be much shorter, or longer. Hopefully I won't hit 100 working days and the rest...
You've all probably read my thread about a similar issue, only to a different EU country. I have received confirmation from PCS today (they said they took this long because they needed to double check everything with accounting) that they amended my invoices and got them ready for my preferred...
If my logic is correct, there were people with intel builds and 3080 around and on my order date too, they all got into building, so maybe they allocated a card for me too as I haven't got the March delay email. So it's just the 5900X, but there seems to be people getting that too little by...
I wish that would be true, 12th of Oct order here, still no sign of any progress, about to enter 78 working days, still awaiting for a personal update, I was told my estimate for dispatch is by end of this week
76 working days, still awaiting for an update, seems like there's movement with the 5900X builds and people on my order date with intel + 3080 already got theirs built, so I feel like I should be super close to building
yeah, import tax for computers here is 0% luckily, and as this computer is ordered through a company, the import tax will be negated too, but for individuals ordering for themselves, the import tax will be applied. I was told my order would be handled by FedEx, I wonder if they're any better...
sending it back would be fine, BUT for example, I live in northeastern Europe, sending it back and forth would be a hassle and an invitation for more delivery damage and going through the customs again is a problem too
even if it was just a side panel, you would have to go through all the trouble looking if there's any residue glass in the system etc., which is not something anyone would want to do, especially with the glasses that break into tiny particles
do you use an external audio interface of some sort? does the CPU/RAM usage spike while using FL? Crackling usually is produced when CPU spikes up. Any other software not working properly?
nice, that means some batches are indeed coming. I will probably email on Monday, I do have a specific contact that looked after my order a bit earlier, he said it would probably around next week, but as you said, it won't hurt to reassure the situation
just realised, that probably I already have a 3080 allocated as people with same or +-1 day of ordering already had their builds done, but they had intel CPUs, so mine's just waiting on a 5900X?
This is most likely the case, my only 2 parts that have been the culprit of the delay are 3080 and 5900X, we ordered on the same day, so most likely they got some 3080s (or they have been allocated to us some time before) and it's just about the CPU or other parts depending on the order
Congrats! Generally you want to make sure there is no condensation from temperature changes, especially now in winter the box spent time in warehouse/van where it's colder than home temperatures
I guess so, i'm on 72 working days now, I was told my estimate is to be built and shipped until the end of the month if supplies come in at a similar pace, haven't got any of those updates
