That's what I figured and I didn't think the 22nd would count either as that's the day I ordered it on.
Based on that it looks like they are shipping 7-10 days longer than initially indicated which is quite a long way out since it is up to twice the initial date.
However it is not a problem for...
I ordered mine on the 22nd Dec quoting 9 to 12 working days. It has just gone into pre production today. The site says it is on 12 working days now however I work it out as about 9. When I contacted them yesterday they estimated dispatch would be some point the week after next.
Thanks for the explanation, it made perfect sense.

I made the chage you suggested to the cooler but also used some christmas money to upgrade the gpu to the AMD RX 6600. I also upgraded the PSU to the 650w. My question is whether the motherboard is still OK? Is it PCIe4? If not will it throttle the gpu?
I should say that I went with a suggestion from someone with a lot more knowledge than me on this forum. It wasn't my original build. (I originally wanted to spend 600-700)

I bought my last pc without Windows. Download direct from the MS store then just purchase the product key. I can get from my sons university for a fraction of the cost. (Education edition)
Thank you for the detailed reply. I know I am very much at the budget end of the spectrum but can't justify spending much more. I guess I might have to stretch another 100 if your suggestion makes it more future proof.
Thanks for the advice. The main reason I went Intel is that the equivalent AMD was more expensive when I tried to build it. Am I missing something? The reason I left Windows off was because it is cheaper to buy a key elsewhere. I am on my phone but will see if I can paste the AMD build I...
Can anyone recommend cost savings I could make?
I don't care what the case looks like but this seemed to have decent cooling and I am hoping might be a bit quieter than some of the cheaper ones.
It is for my daughter to do homework and gaming (Minecraft, SIMs and genshin impact at the moment but...
