My reasoning might have been confusing there. I suspect I'm right at the top of the "standard" queue because I've been in pre-production for so long, thus it wouldn't make much difference changing from "standard" to "fast-track". My theory is that waiting for a part in the "fast-track" queue...

Probably a waste of money. I'm on pre-production day 33 (now without gpu) so must be right at the top of the queue. They must still be waiting on a part for the build before they can start. I reckon the cooler (H115i)

I'm upset because I think I'm the only person in the world with a 3080/90 that doesn't have a rig to use it aha. Still in pre-production 🙃

I purchased the 850 PSU and the H115i Plat and I'm still in pre-production, so that's definitely the case regarding bottlenecks as I no longer need the 3080.

It has arrived. The card is enormous and incredibly heavy but it's gorgeous! Fingerprint magnet though :(

Another interesting point on the call is that they ordered £1.2 mil worth of cards but they're only receiving up to £16k a week. The guy on the call seemed equally as frustrated waiting for them as we are 🙃

Cancelled the STRIX. Quick update for all those who ordered with a H115i cooler. There was an issue at the port and they're due to arrive today, not the weekend just gone, as some posts previously said.

3090. Mostly for gaming but I realised that I'll be starting a new job that requires quite a bit of machine learning to be done both on the cloud and on local machines so I'd spend a little bit extra to give that extra boost. Please don't judge me haha. ;)

I was just scimming through the nvidia reddit and scan.co.uk just released a load of founders editions 3080 and 3090s. Managed to order one before they went out of stock with shipping tomorrow. Once I get the dispatch email I'll cancel the strix with PCS and it should go into build mode pretty...

I just have. Below are their condensed responses. - They don't have a specific queue for the cards. - It's first come first serve with no ETA. - A potential reason someone may have received their order earlier is if any other components in your build were out of stock Regarding that last point...

The last update I had was that it would be built for the 16th. Guys were commenting that there was a delay due to the H115i cooler being out of stock so hopefully something positive occurs this week? Not gonna lie, it's been a month now and I'm starting to get a little frustrated with the lack...
