The monitor is brand new so it probably will be more beneficial getting the 3070 rather than spending another grand on the 3090. The chemistry work isn't too graphically challenging but it does eat up a bunch of time to run calculations, which I'm hoping this new build solves 🤣

I'm using it mostly for gaming but I've got some pretty intensive computational chemistry work to run on it too. At the minute I've got a Dell S2721DGF, but may look to upgrade when decent 4k high refresh monitors become more available.

Amended my order a few days ago, but I've been seeing that the RTX 3090 has a shorter waiting time than the 3080. I'm considering upgrading in hopes of cutting out a potential 4 month wait. Any recommendations on what if anything needs changing to my specs to accommodate for this? Case BE...
