It was for running dcs on vr. To be honest, it has been running well just thought it might help in future if I end up on multi player servers as other players have mentioned that it can use up all the ram. However, if u think it might be unnecessary, I might give it a miss. The savings aren't...
Hi folks
Thinking of taking advantage of sales and adding an extra 32gb ram to my pc. Unfortunately my PC didn't come with any memory stick packaging. I can't find any to match with what I believe to be the model number on the stick. Does the model no. have to be the same? Currently have 2 x...
I must admit, I've had my zotac 2070s from PCS for 4 years and not had any bother with it. I'm just not 100% sure about the oem side of things with cheaper shroud etc to save cost. I guess I was as expecting a brand new, out of the box gpu as shown on most websites so to speak. I'm going to...
...but is it an original retail version which I'm guessing you expected to receive when ordered or is it an OEM version like the one they have put into my build at present?
There was an option for Asus Tuf gaming OC stipulated but they were out of stock. My choice only stipulated Geforce RTX 4090
My current card is a zotac 2070s and it's been great but its not OEM.
Is yours OEM or an actual original Zotac?
So, is it actually made by zotac or are the parts farmed out to another company to build. If so, why do they even bother? Sorry if I'm not quite getting it but my concern is different warranty and I don't particularly want a cheaper version if that's the case
Thanks for that. I'm only guessing that it's a zotac based on one other thread with a photo of this card. (It was returned!) Does this mean pcs supply alot of these? I wouldn't even know who produces/makes them? I'll give them a call Monday I suppose but feel disappointed ☹️
I currently have a build including a 4090 gpu on going, currently at the testing phase. I was sent a photo of the build and have to say, it took a long time to identify exactly what kind of gpu it is. I've eventually found out that it is a Zotac 4090 OEM graphics card! I'll be honest, I was...
Have gone with all recommendations with exception of I've upgraded to Asus x670e motherboard. Wanted to be sure its futureproof. Managed to find a £30 promo code too so not a big increase.👌 Thanks for all the advice and suggestions it's really appreciated.
Just the wait now!
Thanks for your advice/suggestions, that's great thanks. Before i order can I clarify a couple of things please as my knowledge in this field is pretty basic.
The motherboard you suggested is that "futureproof" as in not like my current one! Will I be able to upgrade it if necessary in years...
Little more info on current spec -
Asus prime H310-Plus R2 mother board
2 x 16gb 3600mhz ddr4
Mostly play flight/racing sims in VR
PC VR games (half life Alex etc)
Other games played would be Squad,
Hell Let Loose, Pubg with monitor.
Budget - would like to keep below £3800 if possible

Think the current case is too small. It's an i7 9700 2070s 32gb ram, an older asus motherboard. Guessing I'd probably have to pretty much change most in order to cater for a 4090. Was going to give pc to my son and get a new one. Get the best I can/need before budget gets used for something...
Hi,
Looking for a much improved gaming pc from my current PCS pre built 2070s/i7. My budget is around £3500 mark give or take a couple of hundred. Would be mainly used for DCS VR/MSFS VR and fps. I have an AOC 34" CU34G2X monitor ?3440 x 1440 144hz (not sure if my current system does it...
