I can see the prices starting to fall on 4K 144hz due to more coming out this year. I think 3/4 were announced at CES 21 to come out later this year and 2 more were announced towards the end of fall 20 which would probably come out sooner than the others.
Either a 4K 144hz or a 1440p 144-240hz. I would also go for an IPS panel. I would avoid Dell ones just because I sent 3 back due to bad IPS glow. Their quality checks are not as good as other companies.
I find it is better to ring than email. But I have not seen many people get a 3080 as they have had very few. Most people either went up to a 3090 or down to 3070. You also have to see that Nvidia has the bigger market share so more people was always going to order a new generation Nvidia card...
Would probably take all weekend just download the games 😂. Also my fiancé is having my old machine so will be giving it a clean inside and then wipe the hard drives for her. Knowing my luck she want that doing first before I touch mine 😂. Also will need to use the conversion kit to change the...
Just got an email saying it is ready for dispatch. For those still waiting don’t lose hope and remember to keep reminding customer support. If you need to use me an example of time and what everything let me know and I will post a screenshot of both my spec and order time with how many days in...
I hope so as I said on the phone that I can see others ringing up and being upset. As it is clear that something is going wrong when it does not even follow their own system. The key for those ringing up is not be angry with the CS guys or come across aggressive as I don't believe that it is...
Yes, the CS agent said that he was passing it on to the management team as he thinks like what I think that is an error somewhere which is causing people who are dropping the 3080 to no GPU to then get allocated CPUs to speed up their build before people who should be allocated them due to order...
I would say yes. There is loads of 3070s being putting for sale every day. So that shows that places are getting loads in. I would assume that would also include PCS. I have also seen people saying that their 5800X + 3070 builds have been starting to be done. So by that assumption I would say...
I can see at some point probably around Q3 a 3080ti to fall between the two. Like at the moment the 6900XT doesn’t make much sense. While it is better than the 6800XT is is only around 10% better but not for an extra 50% in cost. I don’t think the 3090 is a gaming card. I think it is a cheaper...
I had actually done a spec at another competitor to PCS and was about to order when they took my case off their build list. I must have annoyed my fiancé with the YouTube videos of reviews I did for cases. And as you said it was actually a deal breaker not to have the case I wanted.
This one - https://lian-li.com/product/lancool-ii/ but also bought the conversion kit to change it to the Mesh front and side. Has amazing reviews for temperatures the mesh version on GamerNexus on YouTube.
Just got an email saying that mine is going into build now. So hopefully all those around that time should be soon as well. To help others work out their position. Ordered 5900X with a 6800XT at 14:07 on the 18th of November. 49 days in Pre-production.
The agent I spoke to said they got 56 yesterday and some more last night. And are due another shipment before the end of the month but no guarantees. There is a backlog over 750+ orders for the 5900X so they are slowly working through them.
Ordered mine 7mins after launch of the 6800XT but with a 5900X so should hopefully get my email about going into build in the next day or so. It has been a long wait for us all. And hopefully for you not much longer to wait till you actually get it.
I just rang up to see what is going on a for some reason people who are dropping the need for a GPU after originally ordering a 3080 are for some reason are being allocated 5900Xs before people that ordered it before them. The CS agent on the phone said this should not be happening and is...
Yes I watched it and it made me cringe. You could see he wanted to give it praise and judge it fairly but they had so many key features either missing or just plain not working. I looked into back when I was looking for a monitor but after feeling kind of betrayed by the last crowd funded...
There is an LG 27” and 32” which are both 4K 144hz and I think there was 3 more monitors announced at CES 2021 to come out either end of Q1 or beginning of Q2 2021 from Asus and BenQ which should start to lower the price as the LG ones were around £800+ last I saw around October. But like most...
